Is a tourist resort at the far eastern end of the southern coast of Cyprus.

Ayia Napa lies near Cape Greco at the eastern part of Cyprus, south of Famagusta. It is a town of the Famagusta District, in the southern part of the district. 

Ayia Napa is about 40 kilometres from Larnaca International Airport.

Allowance

  • This tournament is open to all football amateur teams related with aviation business (Airlines, Airports, ATC - Air Traffic Controllers, Handling, Cargo, Catering, Travel Agencies - Sales Agents, Partners / Suppliers or others).
     

  • All players must be aviation employees (or former employees), however each team is allowed to bring up to 2 players outside aviation (but non professional football players).
     

  • During the registration process, the organizational committee can ask teams to present Company ID Cards confirming that the players belong to the aviation business or that are not professional football players.
     

  • Non-aviation amateur teams are allowed to participate. 
    The organization can provide wild cards and this decision should be taken by the organizers.

     

  • Teams can apply unlimited players, staff or guests.

Elite Cup

  • Teams that want to play against the strongest teams and the main purpose to participate is to win the competition.

Friendly Cup (1)

  • Teams that just want to have fun, make new friends and play football no matter what the final score in each game will be.

    (1) 
    - In the Friendly Cup there is no individual awards (Best Player, Goalkeeper and Scorer) and the teams only receive participation cups.
    - No points will be awarded for t
    he AFC Ranking.

Packages

  • To participate at this tournament the organization provides 4 packages:

    - Executive package;
    - Economy package;
    - Basic package;
    - Low-cost package.

  • To apply, participants must accept all the services included in each package.
     

  • Other packages with less services WILL NOT be provided to participants. More services can be included in each package with extra costs.
     

  • To be part of the tournament, the packages must be requested to the organizational committee.
    Anyone who doesn't book a package with the organizational committee will not be considered as a participant at AFC and cannot be part of a team.

Payments

  • The captain / manager of each team is responsible to collect the money from the whole team and make the payment of the packages, by bank transfer, to the organizational committee.
    Individual payments by bank transfer are not accepted.

     

  • We have limited availability for each package and also limited rooms available at each hotel.
    For this reason, we will give priority to teams that send us full payments on time on a "first come, first served" basis.

    On the other hand for teams that do not make full payments or payment is made after the deadline, we can not guarantee them the requested package or even a spot in our tournament.

     

  • The package price can increase up to 100 € if payments are not made before the payment deadline.

Deadlines for cancellation and no-shows

  • Team fee is non-refundable
     

  • Until 15th March 2024 - 100 % package refund;

  • Between 16th March and 20th March 2025 - 50 % package refund

  • After 21st March 2025 - Package will not be refunded.

Football Games

Our tournament will be played at Ayia Napa Municipal Complex on 4 natural (7-a-side) pitches.

Cancellation of the competition / tournament

  • To allow the organizing committee (O.C.) to organize the competition at AFC Cyprus, a minimum of 6 teams must participate in each Division (Elite and Friendly). If there are less than 6 teams in one of the divisions, the O.C. reserves the right to aggregate both divisions into one to prevent any team not having a competition to play in.
     

  • At the Friendly Cup, the O.C. reserves the right to aggregate both categories (+18 and +40) in just one to prevent the Friendly Cup competition from taking place.
     

  • AFC Cyprus can be cancelled if less than 8 teams are registered in all divisions.

By taking part on it you grant the organizing committe full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in our printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.
